The Leaf Spring AFO is the standard, or general use model ankle foot orthoses. The plastic has been trimmed well back to allow some flexibility. More dorsiflexion and less plantarflexion.

Sizing

NB: these AFOs fit most, but not all patients. Where other foot drop deformaities or complex problems exist, consult an orthotist.

most men will suit a large, and some an extra-large. Most women will suit a medium, and some a small.
