The Digitor Battery Recharger is designed to accommodate and charge five different sized batteries, including AAA, AA, C, D and 9V (216 size). Before charging, switch to the 'test' function to check your batteries. The unit simply plugs into your powerpoint at home or in the office.
- Cells can be fully discharged before charging to reduce the 'memory' effect so that full capacity can be maintained. Cells are disharged, with lamp indication, 2 or 4 at a time. They can be tested, with lamp indication, 1 at a time.
- all cell capacities of 180 mAhrs or more can be charged or discharged (charge time proportional to capacity)
- Any 9V battery with a capacity of 100mAhr or more can be charged (charged time proportional to capacity)
Operating Instructions
- Plug the charge into the mains and switch the mains on
- Set the Test/Charge/Discharge switch to Charge
- Insert the batteries to be charged then close the cover
- For AAA, AA, C and D cells, there must be cells in both left channels (the right LED will light)
- Determine the recommended charge time (in hours) from Charging Time Table
- After the recommended charge time (in hours) from Charging Time Table
- After the recommended charge time has elapsed then switch the charger off or remove the batteries
- For (AAA, AA, C or D) capacities below 1.2 Ahr, the charge time must not be extended beyond the recommended time or they will overheat and may burst
- For (AAA, AA, C or D) capacities 1.2 Ahr or greater, the charge time can be extended but may reduce the battery life if repeated too often
Discharging
- 1) Disconnect the charger from the mains
- 2) Set the Test/Charge/Discharge switch to Discharge
- 3) As with charging, insert 2 or 4 (AAA, AA, C or D) cells into the charger. The white lamp will light to indicate discharge current
- 4) When the lamp is extinguished the cells are fully discharged and can then be recharged
Testing
- 1) Disconnect the charger from the mains
- Set the Test/Charge/Discharge switch to Test
- Insert one (AAA, AA, C or D) cell into the slot closest to the Test/Charge/Discharge switch
- Remove the cell immediately after testing

Size: 9V, Voltage: 8.4V, Capacity 170mAh, Standard Charge 16 hrs at 17mA- For best results charge batteries to the correct charge
- Charge batteries before initial use
- Do not recharge until the batteries are fully exhausted
- Do not charge over specified rate

- This charger is only suitable for NiCd or NiMH rechargable batteries. Attempting to charge non-rechargable or other types or batteries may result in personal injury or damage.
- This battery recharger is suitable for indoor use only and must not be exposed to liquids or high humidity
- This charger is not intended for young children without supervision. Young children should always be supervised to ensure they dont play with the charge
- If the mains cord or charger are damaged, then ceased using the charger immediately. The mains cord is not replaceable, if it is damaged then the charger must be discarded
- Never use the charger as a power source for other equipment
