Sizing
To size the brace you need to take 2 measurements:
- A mid patella knee circumferenc
- Width of knee; a 'caliper' measurement accross the front of the knee. This is a flat (single plane) measurement of the width of the knee. To help with the measurement, take two flat objects (E.g. 2 books) and hold them to each side of the knee as the patient is lying down with knee straight, then measure the distance between the two books.
