Tennis Elbow Brace
Indications:
- Epicondylitis lataralis (tennis elbow)
- Epicondylitis medialis (golfer's arm)
The PSB Arm brace exerts a pressure on the lower arm muscles, relieving pressure on the tendons attatching these muscles to the elbow joint. The attatchment points are where the pain is felt. Thanks to its design and the silicon strips on the inside the sport brace cannot slip during wear. The design and materials guarantee optimal user comfort.
Tips for fitting:The following points are important when fitting the PSB arm brace:
- Fitting is made easier by taking the tape through the fastening ring beforehand.
- Subsequently the brace can be pushed up the arm until it is just under the elbow. In the case of tennis elbow, the pad must be positioned on the outside of the arm and in a golf arm on the inside. the plastic fastening ring is on the outside of the arm and thus not in the crook of the elbow.
- the pad must be worn about 6cm under the elbow bone, on the fleshy part of the wrist extensors, or wrist flexors.
The fastening ring must always be worn on the outside of the arm, otherwise it will result in irritation in the crook of the elbow.
The tape must be tight enough to ensure that pressure is felt in the muscles when the arm is bent and tensioned. Moderate pressure is sufficient when the arm is relaxed. Pressure should not be confused with tightness. it is important the arm brace is never too tight around the arm when it is relaxed or tensioned.
Tips for care
PSB Arm braces are easy to care for and can be machine washed at a maximum of 40°C. Higher temperatures can damage the elastic materials. For the same reason it is inadvisable to tunble dry or dry on a radiator.
For the optimal care of the PSB Arm brace it is important that:- the sport brace is not left lying around wet.
- the velcro is always fastened before washing.
One size fits all.
