Alpha Ultra Soft
The Alpha Ultra soft orthotic is suitable for at rick patients of frail gait dependant individuals of light to medium weight. It has an anti-distortion inlay and provides unparallel cushioning and stability.

Betathotic
Betathotic, Alpha's full length orthotic is suitable for those that need forefoot cushioning along with the corrective value of a 3/4 length.

Alphathotics have the following applications:- As an interim device, to facilitate a continuity of treatment between the initial consultation and the final fitting and break-in period of custom devices
- For children who are likely to outgrow sweveral pairs of devices within a short period
- For patients who are reasonably sound biomechanically and have mild symptoms or symptoms of short duration
Technical information:
- Design incorporates a 5° wedge and posts to aid control of contact pronation
- Manufactured in dense polyurethane for comfortable control and shock absorbtion
- Midtarsal joint alignment is maintained by the mass of the material underlying the medial longitudinal arch, the material mass in turn is supported by the base and shank of shoe
- Longitudinal flexibility allows adaptation to varying heel heights and shank curvatures, while subtalar and midtarsal joints maintain correction
- Material is easily ground, permitting alterations such as reduction of contours and borders, and also facilitates the addition of forefoot padding or wedges
