Sansplint
Offers the highest degree of control
...ideal for making splints on people who are unable to cooperate. Isoprene rubber-based material provides a high degree of control.
- Can be worked aggressively without fingerprinting
- Can be softened in a hot air oven as well as in hot water; heat oven at 80° for 2 to 3 minutes
- Edges trim easily- spot-heat with a heat gun or dip cooled edges into hot water for 5 to 10 seconds and rub them smooth.
- Bonds permanently when heated surfaces are pinched together (not coated, so it gives the fabricator an "extra pair of hands")
