 HOW DOES THE TRACCOLLAR WORK?

The 3 images below show how the TracCollar works. Each hand held bulb inflates the bladder on equivalent side of the collar, creating an upward pressure. The user has complete control of the level of inflation/traction.



Effective Neck Traction

With the TracCollar you can provide your patients with a reliable and effective traction treatment in their daily care. Simply wear the collar and clip the two straps in place and its ready to use. Traction is achieved by inflating one or both of the two bladders inside the unit using the hand pumps as shown. Air can be controlled and released from the collar simply by pressing the release button on each pump. The maximum amount of traction is achieved with 15 pumps of each side, but you can choose less to suit your needs.

The neck traction device is constructed of plastic foam, while the inflatable bladders in side the tracCollar contain natural rubber latex. The fabric covering is made of durable tricot 97% cotton and 3% lycra. Extensively tested for quality.

No more overdoor traction woes

Traditionally, take-home and single-patient devices used for prescribing neck traction have involved operating a device setup on top of a door. This type of product can be difficult to set up and inconvenient to use, thus affecting patient compliance. However, the TracCollar has no set up, and you can begin using it immediately:

  • No fidgety and complicated setup instructions
  • No clumsy metal attachments, hinges, pulleys, and cords
  • No weights or messy water bags
  • No blocking doorways when in use
  • No annoying head halters that don't fit properly

Shipping

All shipping costs are shown once you add an item to your shopping cart. Just click on 'Show Cart' or 'Checkout' to see the shipping charge. In most cases this is a flat rate. In some cases a larger amnount is charged for bulky orders. You will see the final shipping charge during checkout BEFORE your details are taken

We utilise both couriers and the postal service to send your goods in the fastest way possible.

Delivery Times

Please note that your order will be processed within 24 hours from the first weekday (Mon-Fri). Whilst we endeavour to send your goods quickly, we do not guarantee overnight delivery. If goods are not in stock, you will be advised by either phone or email.

Orders over $100

All orders over $100 are now being shipped by eParcel where a signature will be required for delivery. Please keep this in mind when selecting an appropriate delivery address. A commercial location is preferred, but a residential address is also acceptable if the delivery can be received.

International Shipping

International shipping charges include insurance (unless the country does not offer this service). *Some larger items may have greater shipping charges for international customers. The summary page during checkout will give all totals (before payment).
