PSB Wrist Brace

Indications:

• Instability of the carpal bones resulting in increased latitude in the wrist.
• Unspecific pain in the wrist.
• irritated tendon sheath (which can cause carpel tunnel syndrome)

Properties:

The PSB Wist brace provides the wrist with the right amount of support for bending and stretching (flexion and extension). At the same time an elastic tape applies pressure around the wrist. Another advantage is that the PSB Wrist brace is easily fitted by the user and its design and materials make it extrememly comfortable. This applies especially to the Tactel® aquator on the inside, which wicks perspiration away from the skin.

Advice on measuring size:

PSB Wrist braces are available in three sizes: Small, Medium and Large and are different for the right and the left wrist. In order to measure the correct size, you need to measure around the wrist between the hand and the wrist bones. you can use a normal tape measure for measuring or a special PSB tape measure, which shows the sizes in three different colours. The table shows the fitting range of the various sizes.

• If a wrist measurment falls exactly between two sizes, it is advisable to try the smaller size first. a closer fit improves the support function.

Tips for fitting:

• Fitting is made easier by taking the tape through the fastening ring beforehand.
• The PSB Wrist brace can now be fitted simply by pushing the thumb through the designated opening. When you have done this the fastening ring must be on the back of your hand.
• Finally, the elastic tape is tightened, wrapped around the wrist and fastened. The pressure can be adjusted by tightening the elastic tape more or less.

Tips for care

PSB Patella braces are easy to care for and can be machine washed at a maximum of 40°C. Higher temperatures can damage the elastic materials. For the same reason it is inadvisable to tunble dry or dry on a radiator.

For the optimal care of the PSB Patella brace it is important that:

• the sport brace is not left lying around wet
• the velcro is always fastened before washing.

Tips for use: It is essential to buy the correct size. If any pressure is felt on the end of the ulna (the bump on the same side of the wrist as the little finger) the solution could be to choose a smaller size.
